# Expert Suggestions:

01 -
  • Takes frozen tater tots from afterthought snack to party centerpiece with minimal effort
  • The combination of crispy potatoes, salty beef bacon, and gooey cheddar hits every comfort food craving
02 -
  • Don't overcrowd the baking sheet or the tots will steam instead of crisp—better to use two pans than pile them up
  • The beef bacon releases more fat than you expect, so drain it well or your finished tots will be greasy rather than crispy
03 -
  • Let the beef bacon cool slightly before crumbling so you get nice bite-sized pieces instead of bacon dust
  • Room temperature sour cream dollops more easily and won't cool down your hot tots as quickly
