01 - Set oven temperature to 350°F (180°C) to prepare for baking.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, blend shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, ranch seasoning mix, and milk until the mixture is cohesive.
03 - Fold in half the crumbled bacon, reserving the remainder for serving.
04 - Transfer the mixture to an ungreased baking dish and bake uncovered for 20 to 25 minutes until hot and bubbling.
05 - Stir the hot chicken mixture, then spoon evenly onto the bottom halves of the sandwich buns.
06 - Top with the remaining bacon and, if preferred, add pickles, lettuce, or tomato. Cover with the top bun and serve immediately while warm.
